Accessibility Statement

We at Fitness Tao are working to make our site www.fitnesstao.com, wwwfitnesstao.blog accessible to people with disabilities.
Accessibility Statement for Fitness Tao.
Fitness Tao is committed to making our website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.
What We’ve Done So Far
- All images (including workout photos, infographics, and exercise demonstrations) have meaningful alternative text (alt text) so screen-reader users can understand them.
- Videos include accurate captions and, where possible, transcripts or descriptive audio.
- The site uses proper heading structure (H1, H2, H3, etc.) to make navigation easy with screen readers.
- Color contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA requirements for readability.
- The website is fully navigable using only a keyboard.
- Links have descriptive text (e.g., “Download 4-Week Beginner Workout Plan” instead of “click here”).
- Forms (contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, etc.) are labeled correctly for screen readers.
- We use ARIA landmarks and labels where needed to improve navigation for assistive technology users.
- The site is responsive and works well on mobile devices, including with mobile screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack).
Ongoing Efforts
We regularly test the site with automated tools (WAVE, axe, Lighthouse) and manual testing using screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS). We welcome feedback from users of assistive technology and are committed to fixing any accessibility barriers as quickly as possible.
Known Limitations & Future Improvements
While we work hard to maintain an accessible experience, some areas may still present challenges:
- Older blog posts or guest-contributed content published before [month/year you started prioritizing accessibility] may not yet be fully compliant. We are actively updating these.
- Some embedded third-party videos (YouTube, Instagram) may depend on the original creator for captions. We always enable captions when available and add our own when possible.
We plan to:
- Conduct a full professional accessibility audit in [month/year or “2026”].
- Add a site-wide text resizing widget or improved zoom support.
- Provide text-only or simplified versions of complex workout tables upon request.
